This single vineyard Malbec was sourced from the renowned Barwang Vineyard located in the Hilltops region of southern NSW. Cool climate and red granite soils allow this fruit to ripen slowly, concentrating the flavour and colour as the season passes into Autumn. This later ripening fruit coupled with thirteen months maturation in fine grain French oak barrels has produced a wine with intense dark fruit character; brimming with notes of mulberry and plum, rounded off with an elegant tannin structure and subtle oak back bone.

A wine that pairs perfectly with grilled sirloin steak or venison, or just a good aged cheddar. Drink now or cellar for 10 years
