Winemaker Matt Burton has gained many accolades including “Hunter Valley’s Rising Star” in 2011 and ifinalist for the Gourmet Traveller Australian Winemaker of the Year in 2021.

The Hunter’s Shiraz benefits from the calm reliability of low-yielding, old vineyards situated over clay loam soils in Pokolbin. The various terroirs express their differing personalities in the presentation of fruit aromas / flavours and the shape of their tannins. Combined, they fit into one another beautifully and find an easy cohesiveness.
