2017 was such an incredible vintage that winemakers Ian & Suzanne Little decided to make a super-premium small batch from the very best fruit. They walked every single row, selecting the best vines from each row. It meant the hand pickers had to make two passes through every row (a slight clue as to why it’s called YFJ) but the result was worth it.

Intense and sumptuous dark berry fruit characters with beautifully subtle French oak. The wine has been held back from release to allow the fruit, oak and tannins to harmonise and showcase what Hunter Valley Shiraz can do in a great year.
